U.S. FLOOD RELIEF
REMISSION OF DUTY OVERSEAS DONATIONS NEW YORK, Feb. J. President Roosevelt has received a message from King George expressing the sympathy of the Monarch and his Queen for the flood sufferers.
Mr. Roosevelt has issued an executive order permitting gifts of clothing and food supplies from J other nations to enter the United States free of duty. The ..Minister for the Dominican Republic has presented a cheque for £4OOO, being contributions from his country.
The thaw is beginning and the Oregon rivers are rising to floor danger.
