CORONATION TROOPS
DOMINION CONTINGENT PLEA FOR WAR NURSES (Per Press Association.) DANNEVIR'KE, this day. At the quarterly meeting of' the Danncvirke Returned Soldiers’ Association, the president, Mr. J. Bradley, suggested that nursing sisters who served in the Great War should bo included in the Dominion Coronation contingent, and the meeting decided to make a recommendation lo that effect, through the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association, to the Government, the suggestion being that one from each centre bo sent.
The inclusion of nursing sisters would, the meeting considered, be honouring a band of. women who had had done so much for soldiers at the seat of war.
