EXCHANGE OF OFFICERS

AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. MILITARY LTAISOX (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. For the past three years, the Australian and New Zealand military authorities have exchanged a regular officer difring the camp training season from January onwards, in order that a close liaison may be maintained fielwcen the (wo armies.

The Government lias approved of Major \\ . ft. Stevens, R.N.Z.A., visiting Australia this year for a period of approximately three months in order that lie may attend the training camps of the Commonwealth military forces.

Major Stevens is general staff officer of operations and intelligence at general headquarters, and will he sailing from Wellington on February 19. The Australian officer selected to come to New Zealand is Major C. W. Hnxtafile, who will arrive in New Zealand about February 22.
