SPORTS AT RESERVE QUINN’S SPARKLING FORM STAR CUP TO rARKER Sparkling form was produced by Graham Quinn, the Now Zealand titleholder, last night at the floodlight sports meeting conducted .by the Gisborne, Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club on the Childers Road Reserve when he won the 150yds event and the Black and White Cup in 15sec. lie won the same event in the 1934-35 season and is the only runner to have won the coveted trophy on two Kvasions. lb- won his race last evening by inches onlv.
Another event to rouse a great deal ot interest was the Star Clip event tor cyclists over two miles, and alter an exciting race the cup went to Stan Parker by a wheel.
