SURF LIFE SAVERS CLUBS TX AUSTRALIA (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. Speaking at the Mayoral reception to the Australian surf life saving team at Auckland to-dav, the manager, Mr. J. Cameron, on behalf of the Surf Life Saving Association' of Australia, invited a New Zealand team to visit Australia next year for the centenary celebrations in Sydney.

“We maintain that the work of the life saving organisation is of a most humanitarian nature,’ he said. “Ihe dubs in Australia made 3COO rescues last season, and since the inception of the Surf Life Association in 1907 the' lives saved have numbered 33.CC0.”
