Reed. 10 a.m, RUGBY, Jan. 31. The King has approved the appointment. of Sir Wilfred Jackson, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Mauritius, as Governor and Commander-in-Chief of British Guiana, in succession to Sir Stafford Northeote, who recently was appointed to Hongkong.
