The trial of 17 men on various charges of plotting against the State concluded to-d*y, when the judge passed sentence. Contrary to expectations, the prisoners wero not ail condemned to death. Stroiloff received the lightest sentence, ending with eight years’ imprisonment. Radek, Sokolnikov, and Arnold received 10 years imprisonment. The remaining 13 were sentenced to death by shooting.
