DRIVER’S NECK BROKEN
CAR FALLS OVER SOFT. BANK PARAPARA ROAD FATALITY (Tor Press Association.) WANGANUI, last night.
As a. result of the car he was driving falling approximately SUIT, over a bank on Hie Parapara road, George Carnithcrs, aged married, a farmer, of Tauliue, To Awnniiitu, was killed on Saturday night. The accident occurred shortly alter midnight. Deceased was driving from his farm to join his wife, and two children, who had been spending a holiday with her parents at Makirikiri, near Wanganui. When approaching Otoko pa, about 2.8 miles from the, city, Mr. Carnithers drove to the extreme outside edge of the road to allow another vehicle to pass. Apparently, lie drove too far over and the car crashed over the bank, the driver suffered a broken neck.
