SCIENTISTS’ ASSEMBLY

GARDEN PARTY GUESTS (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. After more than a week of intense activity, during which well over 3CO papers have been read, the bieunial meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Association for the Advancement of Science was. brought to a close yesterday. The business of the congress concluded at the Auckland University College during the morning, when the final papers were read and section recommendations were considered at a general council meeting.

The delegates were the guests of the Mayor, Mr. Ernest Davis, and the Mayoress at a garden party in the grounds of Government House in the afternoon.
