Li connection with the special wool class for young farmers tit the coming A. and P, Show, it was decided to approach the judge and have a talk on liis method of judging wool and a demonstration on the correct skirting methods.

Mr. Powdreli introduced Mr. U. F. .Tardine as the first local lecturer fished to speak at a club gathering. Mr. Jardine took for his subject ‘‘Dairying,” and ho illustrated in ft clear manner the good and bad points of the Jersey cow, and then dealt with hygiene in the milking shed. The speaker was accorded a hearty vote of thanks.

Mr. .1. Bain bridge also addressed the meeting, his talk being on ‘‘Pigs and Their Breeding,” dealing chiefly with the methods of the Tig Recording Club as practised in the Waikato. — He was given a hearty vote of thanks for his address.

Many questions were answered, after which papers limited to Jive minutes were rend by three members, as follows: Mr. \V. .1. Brownlie, ‘‘Certified Seed”; Mr. E. Pattison, ‘‘Fattening Lambs on Hills”; ami Mr. R. Powdreli, ‘‘Fattening Lambs on Flats.”

Messrs. A. T. Carroll and Or. F. Jardine voiced their appreciation of the manner in which members dontt with their subjects.
