EXPERT ON GEYSERS
VISIT TO DOMINION (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. To study the hot springs at Rotorua and elsewhere, Dr. A. L. Day, of the Carnegie Institute, Washington, recognised as a leading world authority on geysers, arrived by the Awatea. Ho goes to Wellington, where arrangementsare to be made by the Philosophical Society for him to give a public lecture, probably on Thursday. He will later visit White Island and. obtain samples of the gases given out of the various vents in that island. Ho is accompanied by bis wife.
