DEMOCRAT PARTY CASE CLAIM FOR SALARY SETTLEMENT REACHED (Per Pross Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. The claim of the former organiser for the Democrat Party against the party leaders for the payment of salary was recalled in the Supreme Court to-day when the plaintiff, 11. C. Baulf, withdrew his appeal against the decision of the magistrate, Mr. Wyvern Wilson. Mr. Justice Fair was informed by ATr. 11. .J. Butler, counsel for A. E. Davy, one of the defendants, that the parties had come to an arrangement. Leave accordingly was granted to withdraw the appeal.
