WEDDING

CHAPMAN—MALCOLM

A quiet but pretty wedding, and one of interest to the young people of Wairoa, was celebrated on October 2 at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Feilding. 'I lie contracting parties wero Ida Marie. sixth daughter of Mr. G. Malcolm, of To A'plti, and Cecil James, second son of Mr. and Mrs, M. P. Chapman, of Frnscrtown.

The bride, who Was escorted by her father, was a dainty figure in a suit of green linen tweed, with a hat of summer felt, to tone. She carried a bouquet of cream freesms and mnidcujiair ifern.

Miss dessie Malcolm, wearing n becoming frock of blue floral crepe and widebrimmed hat of lemon straw, and carrying a posy of grape hyacinths, was her sister's bridesmaid.

Mr. George Chapman, the. bridegroom's brother, was best man. The Rev. A. F. Stewart was the officiating clergyman, and the wedding music was played by Mr. Mathieson.

After the ceremony a reception attended by the immediate relatives was held'at the Carlton tea-rooms. Mr. and Mrs. Chapman will reside at Frnsertown.
