The Postnmstmr-Oonomi, the Hon. F. .Tones, has informed Mr. A. G. IT nit:qiyst. member for Bay of Plenty, that the accommodation (provided in tho Post Office building at Whnkatanc meets present requirements. Tt is recognised, however, that tho building will need to be replaced within the next few years.. Provision has been made accordingly in the department’s building programme. The' question of aeeomm bdating other Government, departments will receive consideration when rob hiding proposals are being dealt with.
