The. valuable trophies offered for competition at the. annual Show tire being added to each year. The generous support for the forthcoming Show is most encouraging to the association, and. no doubt, “will prove attractive to exhibitors.

Tims, liorlltwiek and Sons (Australasia). Limited, for most points in chiller beef, fat sheep and fat raoiii classes-;■ silver cup donated bv Mr. 11. k\ . Barker, foi most, points in fat -sheep: silver cup donated bv Messrs, flood and Company for most points in .Southdown sheep: silver eup donated by the New Zealand Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Breeders Association. for the best- Aberdeen-Angus at the Show ; gold medal, donated by the New Zealand Hereford Jfi'ocders Association. for tin- best, yearling Hereford bull; gold medal, donated by the- Now Zealand Romney Marsh .Sbecpbi-ecdei's Association, for the exhibitor who is awarded the Wheeler Memorial Shield for the host Romney ram bred in New Zealand ; silver cup. donated by the Poverty Bay Hunt Club for the champion large White hoar: silver cup. donated hy the Poverty Bay Retinol Club, for the owner gaining most points with pinn Large White hoar; silver cup. donated liv tln* Poverty Bay branch ol the Fanners’ Union, for most, points in dairy farmers' classes. The. total value ol all the silver trophies for ihe 1906 ■Show is C6OO.
