DRUNKEN MOTORISTS
ONE SENT TO GAOL FINES IN CITY COURT (Per Press Association.) DLNKDIN, this. day. Two intoxicated motorists appeared before the. court this morning. Albert John Daniel Smith, aged 26 years, a truck driver, who was convicted of a. similar offence two years ago, was sentenced to gaol for one month. The police said that his truck collided with an iron bridge. He became very violent, and force had lo be used to lock him up. He was also prohibited from driving for two years. Charles W.hittaker, aged 50, public servant, whose offence, according to the police, was not a bad one, was ilned £lO and was prohibited from driving for two years.
