TRAIN IN CREEK
FALLS THROUGH BRIDGE THREE MEN INJURED BRISBANE, Sept. 20. A cine locomotive foil through a tramway bridge over a tidal creek running iulo the Maronehy River yesterday morning. The bridge collapsed and the engine dragged all the loaded trucks with ii as well as several i inpty ones. The engine came to re.si on iis side; in 'lft. of water. The driver, Elley Lerrea, escaped with lonises, and 'he was able in crawl from the cabin, which was half under water, and shut oil' the steam. I'.dgar Plater, 19, llreman, received a fracture of the pelvis and internal injuries. Leslie Plater, who was also on the engine, escaped with n shaking.
