WOMAN ALARMS THIEF PEARL NECKLACE LOST LONDON, July 31. Jewellery valued at £6OOO was stolen from the house of Air. Albert Holt, a well-known City man, in Fitzjohu's avenue, Hampstead, in the early hours of yesterday morning. One of the stolen articles, a necklace of 63 pearls, was valued at £SOOO It was composed of specially graduated pearls with an emerald and diamond clasp. Air. Holt's wife, who is over 60, was awakened by a noise in her bedroom. Suspecting that someone was there, she screamed and switched on the light.
