TE KARAKA TEAM

SATISFACTORY SEASON

The. season just passed was a very satisfactory one so far as the To Kara lea third, grade football team was concerned. Playing in the competition arranged by tho Poverty Bay Rugby Union for this grade, they emerged the winners with tho excellent record of 13 matches played, 11 won, one lost, one drawn; points for 184, against 20. Only one team crossed their line, twice in one match and once in the return encounter, tho remaining points scored against Litem being for field goals. The manager of tho team, Mr. .7. Goodley, speaks highly of the manner in which the members worked together, playing the game in tho true team spirit and making the. season a thoroughly enjoyable one.
