A munber ;of the sheep which lin\'e • died in district floclcs of recent weeks ' have been exaihined, and their livers pave been found to be affected by the , disease. j Mortality among the district’s . flocks was particularly light early iii ? Ihe season, bearing trouble-and ante | part it in paralysis being almost nonexistent. These two troubles were j only slightly in evidence during the i past few weeks, the largest number of ; deaths being caused by internal j parasites. j Facial eczema last season was not as i troublesome siiii.ong the flocks ns dur|ing the previous season, but many of ■the sheep affected remained in comparatively poor condition throughout 'the winter until death occurred recently. .The effect on the livers was pronounced in a number on which post-mortem examinations were made:
