Last Night’s Forecast An intense depression extends from New Zealand eastward with Hs. centio moving south-eastwards, while an anticyclone is advancing across, the lasman Sea. Winds, moderate to strong, south-westerly to southerly, reaching gale force, at times from Look St ait northwards, and on parts of tho > ast coast, of the .South Island. Seas, modelate south of Farewell Spit, moderate to rather rough north of b ast (Aipe, olstwhere rough,, with a heavy soul l.erU swell.
