Wahine Nui led all-the'way to the distance, when Charade headed her, winning by half a length; the same between second and third. Chat was fourth. Time, 2.11. Plying Handicap.—l Lavma, 7.< (Marsh), 1; 3. Pakanui 9.4 (Atkins). 2: 5 First Chapter 7.7 (Forsyth), 3. Also started: 1 Passion Flower, 6 Slipperv. 1 Mata Hari; 7 Tigergam. Lavina led all the way with Pakanui and First Chapter next. Passion Flower made a hid in, the straight, but the .order remained unaltered. Won bv two lengths and a, length. Time. 1.13 3-5.
