G. PENCHEFF'S RETURN
RtAxCH WITH BLOMFIELD George Peneheff, who has returned to Now Zealand after an absence ot !i\o years, will be '•Lofty" Blomiield's opponent in the professional heavy weight wrestling match which is tn In' staged in Gisborno ou Wednesday. Peneheff is a native of Bulgaria, being a cousin of Dan Koloff, but he is now eligible to compete for the British Empire title as he became a naturalised British subject in Australia. Penchetr has everything the wrestling crowd looks for, being excellently built, with plenty of strength and speed. To add to till the well-known holds, he has Dan O'Mahoney's " Irish whip," with which he took a. fall from Blomfield in their .first engagement. In that contest he took the decision on points after they had gained a fall apiece. He is anxious to establish definite superiority over , 1),- Xew /ealander as he realises that if he can do so his success in this country will be assured. However, Blomfield can be relied upon to see to it that his way will not be easy. The New Zealand champion is always hard io beat and has his own ways of clearing opposition f'.om his path.
