Representations have been made to the Minister of Marine, the linn. I'. Eraser, on tlfe question of establishing a deep-sea harbour at Point Elizabeth un tin; West Coast. The position is discussed by the Minister in a loltOi -Cut. to Mr. J. O'Brien, M.P., a copy of which was published in the Grey liiver Argus. After reviewing the situation the Minister concludes with an expression of opinion that it would appear dilli'■itll to justify economically the large sum—Jil,ToO.flOO at. least—that would be needed for a deep sea port at. Point Elizabeth.
