Later, Detectives Hayes and Wilson inquired of the proprietor if lie had seen any signs of a young man masquerading as a woman. lie replied: "Yes, 1 think I can take you to Mier' right away." When the detectives approached "her" on the backs stairs, asking, "Are you Miss Patricia ," the reply canto in a somewhat deep voice, "Yes, I am."

After inquiries in the room, the arrest was made. The prisoner left the hotel dressed as a woman.
