Sport and General Photo. FIRST OFFICIAL DUTY.—Mr. W. J. Jordan, New Zealand High Commissioner in London, placed a wreath on the Cenotaph, Whitehall, London, on September 1. This Was his first official ceremony after taking over his new appointment. Mr. Jordan on the occasion of his first visit to Geneva this week was one of a small group of statesmen on whom the eyes of the world were fixed, and played a helpful and constructive part throughout the discussion on the eligibility of Abyssinia to attend.
