SINO-JAPANESE TENSION NAVAL VIEW IN TOKIO PROTEST FROM PEKIN invasion of territory; (Elec. Tel. Copyright — United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 25, 11 a.m.) LON RUN, Sept. 24. A message from Pekin slates- that the Chinese'Government has vigorously protested against Japanese invasions into their territory. The Chinese declared a state, of map tint law in Shanghai to-day. til their area of the .settlement, the Japanese patrols are searching and 'questioning pedestrians. A Tokio message says that) the spokesman of the Japanese Foreign Office said to-day that the gravity of the situation was indicated by the fact that the Japanese Admiralty and the War Office and Foreign Office are jointly considering the Shanghai incidents'. After a meeting of naval heads, Admiral Nagano said: Pit is. time.for action, rather than for conferences.”
