Marctty rector of Exeter College, Oxford, at a British Medical Association, conference lecture, at Oxford last night. ; He said: “Now that world communications have been made so easy, the time has come for a selective dieting, capable not merely of barely sustaining the human animal, but of developing him to the top of his capacity —of getting him not merely fat, but fit, both mentally and physically.” Dr. Marett . added: “One may wonder whether the bulk of our citizens may ,not have reason to coinplain not only of under-nutrition, but of downright malnutrition.”
