FAREWELL TO WALLABIES

Members of the Australian Rugby football team, were given a rousing send-off to-day when they left by the, Wanganella for Sydney. The weather w r as gloriously fine and the scene at the ship’s side was a gay one. A large erow-d which had assembled to witness the departure of the ship tvas entertained by the footballers, who sang many songs and exchanged a running fire of bright remarks with friends on the wharf. Many Rugby officials and players were present, and three rousing cheers were given for the visitors ns the ship drew out. THREE VICTORIES TEN GAMES PLAYED During the tour, which concluded yesterday, the Australian Rugby team played 10 games, winning three and losing seven.
