Following two murders and other attacks on Japanese nationals, allegedly by Chinese in the international concession, Japan has issued an nltiniatum to China, threatening adequate steps within 12 hours if certain conditions are not fulfilled, adding that .marines would occupy eineruuiev defence positions embracing the most' of i'hn:jiei and (he whole 01 Honekew.
