At the wool sales, 11,368 bales were offered, including 7334 from New Zealand. The total sold was 10,195 bales. There, was a moderate selection, consisting chiefly of crossßrcds, which sold well at full current rates, mainly to the home trade. Inferior merinos wore frequently withdrawn. New Zealand sales included: —Scoured merinos, Murehison, top price, 27id, average, 2-lgd; slipe, half bred lambs, CEM in squaro/Paroroa, top price, 17Jd, average 17Jd.
