The Tolaga Bay sub-branch of the Blanket Society recently forwarded its half-yearly quota to the Gisborne society. Members' subscriptions and the takings from a successful shop day are responsible for the realisation of the necessary amount. . Misses June Harries, Joyce Smith, Moira O'Connell and Leah Kelly, four voung pupils of Miss A. L. Moore, Tolaga Bav. were successful in the recent Trinity College (London) music examinations.' all paining excellent marks in pianoforte and theory.
