MAY BE SHOT FOR FILMS

CORONATION CEREMONY FIRST TIME IN HISTORY PRECEDENT AT THE ABBEY (E'ec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 23, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 22. The Daily Telegraph says it is possible that the Coronation will be filmed for the first time in history at the coming ceremony. The introduction of a movie camera in the Abbey has always been frowned on in the past, because it was felt that the use of cameras tended to lessen the dignity of the ceremonies there. Now it, is felt that the inconvenience would be counter balanced by the interest, in the picture throughout the Empire and also US value as an historical document.
