■'Prayer cm control rain." was the subject of a sermon by Pastor Xewell. at the Church of Christ,'Grafton, to-night. "If one believes in Cod." he .said, "one has to believe that there is nothing that prayer cannot control. It can control Hoods, droughts, earthquakes, and any other phenomena of Nature. The only limit to the power of prayer is God'r| will. 1 say prayer can control rain. I do not say it always does control rain. Prayer is not, always answered by giving the things we ask for. Prayer is one of the great mysteries of the supernatural world. Not all (hose who think that they pray, do pray. Beat prayer must he hacked by faith in the power of God lo answer prayer.
"If one prays for rain, one must believe in miracles-. It, is asking God to make it, rain when Nature is not giving the needed rain."
