Cuddle, also ridden by McCarten, registered the excellent time of 1.16 for six furlongs, the last three in 37. .Mr. Montgomery, owner of Silver Jubilee, was present at, Victoria Park to sec him gallop a brilliant four in 49j-see. The Sydney Sun says, there is little chance 'of Silver Streak meeting his Handwick engagements. He pulled up lame to-day and has been scratched from all Melbourne events. He will probably return to New Zealand on October 9.
