HIGH SPEEDS IN TRIALS COMFORT OP PASSENGERS LONDON, Sept. 10. If is understood that the trials of the new Empire fiyingt-boats have shown them to he capable of cruising at 165 miles an hour and of attaining a top speed of 195 miles an hour. The well-known Australian airman Sir Keith Smith said in an interview in London to-day that the structural and aerodynamic "qualities of the new flyingboats were ui questionable, and the provision for passengers was so elaborate that it was certain to send the traffic up by leaps and bounds when the machines were placed in service.
