All unusual diversion occurred daring a friendly football match at Prince of Wales Park, Wellington, on Saturday afternoon. An over-zealous lino umpire became involved in a. forward rush, and when iho scene of play moved on he was left prono on Iho turf—knocked out. He was speedily restored to- consciousness. G. P. Hart, Canterbury's speedy All Black, played his last game of Rugby in Christcinirch on Saturday, when he represented his province against Australia. He is now 27 years of age, and says he must concentrate his attention on his business activities. He has represented Canterbury 39 times and .New Zealand in six separate, seasons.
