Pension arrears will be paid out in Gisborne to-morrow. The chief postmaster, Mr. G. Nelson, announcing this to-day, said that the payments to-morrow were as a result of tho new legislation making the increased pension rates retrospective from July 1, The amounts concerned in to-morrow’s disbursements would comprise. the difference in the ol ( J and new pensions between July 1 and August 31.
