DRIED FRUITS LAW
AUSTRALIAN PROBLEM
ADELAIDE, Aug. 30.
The conference of State Premiers ended with the major constitutional issue on marketing powers, raised by the Privy Council decision in the dried fruit law appeal, still undecided, because of the lack of unanimity among the States. It is believed the Commonwealth Government alone will now have to tackle the question in order to obviate possible chaos in the marketing of Australian products.
