SEARCH OF EMBASSIES LONDON COLONY IN PANIC LONDON, Aug. 29. The Moscow correspondent- of the News Exchange Agency says that M. Stashcvski. the head of the fur trust, has- been appointed head of the Soviet trading delegation in London in place of M. Ozersky, who was recalled to Moscow a fortnight ago. The Daily Herald also declares that General Putna's wife learned of her husband’s arrest when members qf the -Soviet Embassy at Berlin seized her luggage, though the London Embassy was aware- of it a week earlier. The Herald’s Moscow correspondent says that llrigadier-General Schmidt and his chief of staff, M. Euzmichov, are among 10 persons awaiting trial on a charge of plotting to kill M. Voroshilov. WARNING TO NORWAY ASYLUM TO TROTSKY DANGER TO RELATIONS MOSCOW, Aug. 30. The Soviet has requested Norway to deprive M. Leon Trotsky of the right of asylum, stating that his continued residence in Norway will endanger friendly relations between Russia and Norway. The Soviet refers to a League discussion in 1934 relative (o the assassination of King Alexander, of Yugoslavia, and Iho French Minister, M. Barthou, in which it was acknowledged that it was obligatory on League members to assist each other in a fight, against terrorism. A message from Oslo slates that the Norwegian Minister of Justice states that be would be only too glad if M. Trotsky obtained a visa from another country enabling him to leave the country.
