REPUDIATION CHARGE ANSWER. BY ASSESSOR (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, last night. An emphatic denial to the suggestion made in a let-tor to llte Minister of Industries and Commerce by Air. L. .T. Watson, secretary of the Auckland Bakers’ and Pastry Cooks’ Union, that the master bakers’ assessors had not signed the agreement reached in conciliation proceedings •‘‘ because _ thenends had been served by the price o_ bread being raised” is given by Mr. D. E. Dustin, of Wanganui, one of the assessors in the dispute. Mr. Dustin says that, during. Hie penultimate stages of the proceedings, the employers’ representatives offered certain wages with a proviso, one ol which Mr. Watson had since repudiated. Consequently several of (ho assessors felt that they had been let down and refused to sign the agreement.
