The Bishop of St. Edmundsbuvy and Ipswich, Dr. W. Whittingham, says that girls in cycling shorts should be as welcome in a church as anybody. ‘ There is no reason why ' women should be required to wear hats in church if they do not desire it, he adds. “People behaving decently should be received courteously in any dress in which- they can with decency be seen outside.”
