BURGLAR IN HOUSE

WOMAN ATTACKED FRUITLESS SEARCH (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Having retired early with her young daughter iu the absence of her husband at business, Mrs. A. J. Nolan, Onslow road, Mount Albert, was awakened about 8.15 p.m. by the sound of a cough, and on investigating saw the outline of a man in .a darkened passage. The burglar dashed past, jostling Mrs. Nolan, and knocking her to the floor, causing a lump on her forehead and shock.

Neighbours made a fruitless search for the burglar. Mrs. Nolan’s parents had been visiting her .and left in a motor car about 7 p.in., and it is thought that the man avrs watching the house and had concluded that the occupants Avero away. Nothing Avas missing.

Jn Hamilton some years ago Mrs. Nolan awoke to find.au intruder in her bedroom.
