SKI-ING CHAMPIONSHIPS
UNFAVOURABLE WEATHER EVENTS NOT COMPLETED (Per Press Association.) THE CHATEAU, last night. Further bad weather rendered the continuation of the New Zealand ski championships and the commencement, of the mlcr-Domiuiou events between Australia, and New Zealand impossibly during the week-end. The position has now become acute, owing to the prolonged unfavourable weather, and difficulty may he experienced in completing all the events, the visiting ski-ers having to leave on Friday. The race officials issued a bulletin describing the situation -as ■‘rather desperate,” and it has become much worse since then. The Australian visitors have been particularly unfortunate. having now been at The Chateau nearly a fortnight, with only one clear day, ___________________
