Vsillies for New Zealand mutton, hot 111 wethers and ewes, showed a general increase during the week, while lamb values also were firmer, particularly for second quality, which was uj) to LI dearer. Australian, Patagonian and Argentine lamb also participated in (he firming movement. The chilled beef market was variable, with a firmer tendency. Pork was unchanged. NEW ZEALAND DRUG SADIE INTERIM DIVIDEND At a meeting of Kempthorne Prosser, and Co's New Zealand Drug Company, Limited, an interim dividend of ;U per cent for the half-year ended July :!1 was declared. The payment is unchanged, the distribution last year comprising an interim dividend of .*H per cent and a final distribution of 41 per cent. DUNLOP-PERDRIAU MELBOURNE, Aug. 30. The Dunlop Perdriau Rubber Company; Limited, made a not profit of £305,680. compared with £143,016 the previous year. A preference dividend of 10 per cent absorbs £93.000, and an ordinary dividend of 5 per cent requires C 188,283.
