BARTER SYSTEM URGED
GERMAN TRADE AIM QUEST IN AUSTRALIA (Reed. Aug. 29. 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, Aug. 29. Herr Ilillbrcclit, a German trade expert who arrived in Sydney recently, is investigating the trade relationships between Australia and Germany, tie hopes to .arrange a trade barter system, and will also undertake similar investigations in New Zealand. Herr I-lillbrecht said: “Germany needs y our wool, bu t c* a n trade wi t n Australia only on the barter system. He added that Germany could take double the quantity 61; wool previously exported from Australia, but it the barter system was not acceptable Germany would have to go on with her experiments in artificial wool products.
