BADMINTON
TOKOMARU TOURNEY HANDIC APS FIXED (Herald Correspondent.) The captain of the Tokomaru Bay Badminton Club, Mr. Al.- Alexander, has allocated the handicaps for the competition on Monday evening. Through an extension in the time of the hire of the Gaiety Theatre it is expected to linalise the tournament in the one night, and some close games are anticipated. The games will be singles and the men will be played up to 21, while the ladies will be up to 15. The handicaps are as follow : Men.—M. Alexander, o. 8; S. G. LyleSmythe, o. 1; E. Godber, o. 1; D. The tournament will be a knock-out competition, while the championship singles, which will be played in the near future, will take the form of a Yankee tournament.
