HOURS OF WORKERS BUSY TIME PROVIDED FOP (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The. Arbitration Court awarded a 40-hour week to the saddlery, harness and hag manufacturing industry. Saturday work will bo permitted. For seed cleaners and dressers the court, decided on a week of 44 hours during the. six busy months, and 40 hours for flic remaining six months. Employers may nominate a 44-hour week period, prior notice to be given to the Labour Department. Saturday work will be permitted.
Pea and bean seed workers were granted a 44-hnur week from March 15 to September 15 ; , and a 40-hour week for the remainder of the year. Saturday work will bo allowed.
For garden seed packeting the hours were fixed at 44 during March, August. September and October, 40 during April, May, June and July, and 36 in November, December, January and February. Saturday work will be allowed.
