The executions of the 16 men convicted at the treason trial were carried out in the strictest secrecy, and the manner in which the condemned men met their death is wrapped in mystery. Stories that Zinoviev collapsed and that others died cursing are probably mere inventions. Only the officials know in what part of the nme of the Ogpu buildings the executions were carried out. An Oslo message reports that the Norwegian Government has warned M. Leon Trotsky not to interfere in politics, but to "confine his activities to writing historical works and treatises not directed against 'other countries. M. Trotsky is said to have accepted the stricter conditions imposed by the Norwegian Government on his stay in Norway.
