OLYMPIAD CRITICISM
BRITISH ATHLETES LETTER OF COMPLAINT (Reed. Aug. 20, 12.15 p.m.) . LONDON, Aug. 19. Eight members of the British Olympic team have sent a letter to the Amateur Athletic Association making complaints with reference to the British organisation for the Games this year. The letter complains:— (1) That the team arrived in Berlin overlate to give the competitors a fair chance. (2) That, no coach was appointed who was experienced in athletics under modern -conditions, and consequently the athletes were driven to seek advice from coaches of other nations.
(3) That the organisation as to transport aiul food was inadequate. (4) That the message arrangements were inadequate.
The letter will he considered by the committee.
